This is a community for the Bhutan NDI hackathon that took place 11–17 May 2026 led by the GovTech Agency in Bhutan with the support of Ethereum Foundation. The objective was to build on top of the existing NDI system by providing additional citizen services on top of the existing architecture. Projects were framed by five public-service tracks: age verification to monitor minor alcohol purchase, document signing and cryptographic non-repudiation, academic credential verification/equivalency for students and job seekers, public procurement/asset auditability, and an open track for any creative ideas for NDI citizen services. The judging criteria are utility for Bhutanese public services and NDI fit, practicality, execution status, future vision, scalability, UI/UX/accessibility, originality, potential/ambition, and demo quality.
