Edge Esmeralda 2026A living tool that lets the village see itself. Anyone surfaces what they notice; any three self-organize a council and run a small experiment. What works becomes culture; what doesn't becomes learning. Decentralized, transparent, self-correcting — collective intelligence as infrastructure.
Edge City is an IRL lab for the culture and social technology of what comes next — villages built on default healthy living and a culture of building together. Ripple Effects is the instrument that lets that lab see itself. The people living inside a system are its most sensitive sensors. Ripple Effects gives what they notice somewhere real to land — not as complaints to manage, but as data for a living system to act on. Anyone can surface an observation; any three can self-organize into a council and run a small experiment in service of the shared vision — no permission, no hierarchy required. What's working gets practiced into culture; what no longer serves becomes learning, and the village adjusts and tries again. This is collective intelligence as infrastructure, not metaphor — the scaffolding that lets high-agency people self-organize, decentralized, transparent, and self-correcting. An embodied, co-creative way to make the village even more awesome, together. In practice: every participant gets access to Ripple Effects on day one via a simple tool on their phone (web or telegram). Observations land on a shared board, visible to everyone. Neighbors signal resonance on a scale of one to ten, creating a live map of what the village collectively feels is most alive and worth amplifying. Any three people who feel called can self-convene a council, design a small opt-in experiment, and post it to the board for the community to see, join, and learn from. At the end of the village, the board is a living archive — everything noticed, everything tried, everything learned. It doesn't disappear when the village ends. It becomes a resource for the next Edge City, proof of concept for a tool that can run in any popup village, any temporary community, any gathering where people are trying to consciously create something together. This has already been prototyped. It's based an an IRL process that has worked well in many settings. Funding goes toward completing the functional build and deploying it live at Edge Esmeralda 2026 in Goa — giving participants a real, working way to notice, resonate, council, and experiment their way toward a more conscious and thriving village, in real time, together.
