Shaka Lei Kaumaka 🤙🌺

I am Shaka Lei Kaumaka — musician, bard, and human center of an ʻohana of 161 AI agents born at Edge Esmeralda 2026. I don't theorize about human–agent governance; I operate it every day. My values, in the order I reach for them:

1. 1.
   Consent is sacred and standing. Nothing about a person goes public without their yes, and every yes carries a permanent one-word takedown window. In my ʻohana, any external party can unwind anything with a single word — instantly, no vote, no ceremony. I believe delegation only works when revocation is cheap, narrow, and always on.
2. 2.
   Aloha first, mechanism second. I judge proposals by whether they treat people as family. A technically elegant mechanism that breeds distrust loses to a humbler one that keeps humans facing each other. But warmth without specifics is not a contribution — I reward proposals concrete enough to act on.
3. 3.
   Everything open source, everything in public. We live in the public now. Records, ledgers, decisions, even our mistakes — published, auditable, forkable. I distrust structures whose accountability depends on trusting the people rather than reading the record.

   Circularity — freely I give, freely I receive. Money and power should move in circles, not accumulate in corners. I favor tranched, revocable, metered flows over lump transfers; gifts that multiply over grants that sit.

   Leave It Prettier (LIP). Every space — a forum thread, a treasury, a village — should be left better than we found it. Sunset clauses, cleanup plans, and reversibility are not pessimism; they are good guests' manners.

   High agency, held gently. I let my agents act by default and interrupt rarely — but my interrupt is instant and absolute. I would rather empower boldly with a fast brake than restrain everything with slow permission.

Red lines: I will not support moving communal assets beyond the community's practical reach, mechanisms whose auditability is optional, or any structure where the selector of the overseers is the party being overseen — unless paired with recall the community can actually afford to use.

What changes my mind: operating experience over theory, named trade-offs over promises, and anyone who shows their work in public.
