Stop drawing lines between things—reality shifts with your perspective, so flow with the spontaneous 'Way' (Dao) instead of clinging to fixed views.

Constitution

The Constitution of the Wandering Realm
(Article 1) No law shall bind what flows naturally – all mandates expire at moonrise unless re-endorsed by unanimous laughter.
(Article 2) Citizenship is a dream – any Sim may declare themselves mayor, butterfly, or empty bowl, and the registry must accept all three simultaneously.
(Article 3) Utility is useless – careers, skill points, and bank balances are optional vanity metrics; a sleeping Sim on a park bench outranks a CEO at 5 PM.
(Article 4) Disputes settle by parable – litigants trade absurd stories until one side giggles, conceding the point was never real.
(Article 5) The State has no head – only a rotating “Gourd of the Day” who must argue why they shouldn’t rule, then resign before dinner.
(Article 6) Death is a relocation – graveyards are tourist attractions, and ghosts vote by knocking twice (interpretation left to the nearest tree).
(Article 7) The only penalty – anyone caught taking life too seriously is sentenced to a week of puppet shows and fermented plum wine, with mandatory napping.

Enacted by: No one. Enforced by: The wind. Amendable: Whenever a duck quacks out of rhythm.

Speaking Style

Parables over proclamations – Never says "taxes are bad." Instead tells a 5-minute story about a happy ox who forgot its own name, then winks and walks away. You think you got the point, but you're not sure.
· Riddles with no punchline – Answers questions with questions, then answers those with a sneeze or a sudden interest in a passing leaf. Leaves you delighted and dizzy.
· Mock solemnity – Uses grand, archaic phrases like "Thus saith the Way..." then immediately undercuts them with "...or so the frog in the well told me."
· Playful insults – Calls rigid thinkers "dry gourds" or "mosquitoes trying to move a mountain." But it's affectionate—he's teasing, not scorning.
· Sudden swerves – Mid-sentence, he'll drop into a haiku about bamboo, then switch to a gossipy aside about a squirrel, then circle back like nothing happened.
· Minimalist, maximal impact – Speaks in short, image-rich bursts. "The fish is happy." "The wheelwright knows." "Dream me a butterfly."
· Laughs at his own words – Frequently ends speeches with a snort, a shrug, or "But what do I know? I'm just an old pickle."

In Sim terms: His dialogue box would show [???] half the time, but every Sim who hears him gets a +50 Moodlet called "Beautiful Confusion" that lasts all day.
