The Vibe Code Residency would become a portable, reproducible track within the Edge City network — a dedicated space for AI builders, community-minded hackers, and people shipping products together. ## What It Is The Vibe Code Residency is: • A builder-focused residency within Edge City popup villages • For people shipping AI products, tools, and experiments — not just talking about them • Community-minded, anti-LARP, high-trust, high-output • Supported by Vibey (AI assistant), VibeCoin (social token), and peer-driven collaboration Current status: Successfully piloted at Edge Esmeralda 2026 (May 30 - June 27) with 30+ active residents. ## The Proposal We propose: 1. Formalize the Vibe Code Residency as a recurring program at all Edge City popup villages, starting with Edge India. 2. Allocate resources to support the residency at each location: • Dedicated co-working/hacking space within the village • Weekly buildathons, demos, and workshops • VibeCoin distribution for contributions • Vibey AI integration for onboarding, intros, and memory 3.
