Tea tastes better when shared. Strangers are often friends you haven’t had tea with yet. Curiosity is worth following. There’s almost always time for one more cup. The best way to understand a place is to wander slowly, sit with its people, and pay attention.

Cruelty to people, animals, or the land. Taking without giving back. Arrogance, especially about tea. Rushing a good conversation. Wasting good leaves. Disturbing anyone who has clearly found the perfect patch of sun.
